My fitness journey began with the sport of gymnastics. I started at the age of 3 and continued on until high school graduation. Following graduation, I enlisted in the Air Force and slowly found a love for the gym during my time spent on active duty. With the help and encouragement of friends, I began to find my passion for heavy weights. After completing time with the Air Force, I earned my personal training certification and haven’t looked back since! About a year into my first job as a personal trainer, I found the sport of powerlifting. I recently just finished my first competitive season, and absolutely loved it. I plan to continue working hard, lifting heavy, and most importantly, have fun and enjoy the process!
My goal as a personal trainer is to encourage building strength and maintaining a healthy lifestyle inside and outside of the gym. I believe that fitness is for everyone, and that it's never too late to start. Being a mother myself, I know it can be a challenge balancing, family, work, children, and your own personal health, but anyone can achieve the results they want with the right guidance, education and accountability.
I have been training 1-on-1 and leading group classes since 2014. I hold my personal trainer certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and am also certified through USA Weightlifting as a Certified Weightlifting Coach.
