I had an active childhood and played a number of sports year after year. I played football for eight years, from the time I was young through most of high school. I also ran track and played soccer. Toward the end of high school and into college, I became way less active, and practically lived off of Taco Bell. It didn’t show on the outside, but I knew I wasn’t healthy on the inside - I could barely even run a mile at the time. So, I decided to make a change. I started practically lived in the gym. I earned my personal training certification through the American Council on Exercise, and I’ve loved working in the industry ever since.
I want be the best possible version of myself, and to inspire others to do the same. In a world filled with weight-related health problems and mental health concerns, I believe fitness to be a vital part of the solution.
I have been a certified personal trainer since 2017. I’ve trained out of a variety of gym settings since then, including an obstacle gym that trains it’s members on the same obstacles seen in American Ninja Warrior. I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients from the ages of 18-80+. I’m proud of the experience I’ve earned as a trainer, and I love being in a field where I can actually say I’m helping people.
